This is what Stage 1, silent autoimmunity looks like…

There is no “autoimmunologist” in the health care field right now.

At 38, I was in peak physical condition.

I was mountain biking constantly, trail running, weight training.

I had no symptoms and no reason to check for autoimmune anything.

My labs were perfect. Always.

Gregg and I were talking about having a baby and I decided to run a comprehensive blood panel on myself prior to conceiving.

One thing came up flagged.

Thyroid antibodies.

This stopped me dead in my tracks.

With no alterations in thyroid function and zero hypo or hyper thyroid symptoms, my life totally changed in this moment.

This is what Stage 1, silent autoimmunity looks like.

And this stage can move on undetected for years.

After further testing, I discovered I was also silently making antibodies to 4 more tissues.

I was able to turn this around because I caught this so early.

How many tissues are you making antibodies to?

What potential autoimmune diseases are you living with right now that you don’t even know about?

This is the face of a woman who's about to get diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis.

Let’s talk.

I can help.

Love,

Dr. Vanessa
