Block, Inhibit, Block, Inhibit…

I checked out the 10 most prescribed drugs in the US.

Almost all the drugs on the list either block something or inhibit something.

We’re not really fixing anything.

The model of blocking and inhibiting over and over again is the current healthcare strategy.

There are some people that won’t make it without the drugs.

They will never stop smoking.

Never stop drinking booze.

Never stop eating Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Puffs.

Never give up their Coke.

Never move.

Anyone falling under this category - I love you and you will need to take all the blocking and inhibiting drugs available for as long as your body can keep going.

There’s another group of us that may need a little blocking, a little inhibiting, and a little downregulating - Seriously, if your thyroid’s burned out, thyroid replacement is appropriate.

There’s another group of us that are going to reverse age.

The model of improving function is a turn-on.

You love it when your brain is firing on all cylinders.

Not laying in a wave of afternoon fatigue is your jam.

You’re thriving on little to no grains and delicious fats.

Moving your body with ease is your joy.

This is possible.

You’ll have to make changes and you’ll have to learn to manage your brain drama through the changes.

That’s okay.

What if it could even be fun?

Love,

Dr. Vanessa
